Blue Ridge Institute Folklife Festival

Virginia's largest celebration of folkways from the Blue Ridge and surrounding areas will be held October 27, 1984 at the Ferrum College campus in Ferrum, Virginia. It will start at 10:00 a.m. and last until 5:00 p.m. The admission charge will be $2.00 adults, $1.00 children 6-15, and $1.00 for senior citizens.

There will be much to see and enjoy. Mountain craftsmen will be there making and selling their works and many food booths will be set up selling old time favorites such as funnel cakes and country ham. There will be many working demonstrations set up and mountain music going strong.

For an enjoyable day in the mountains and an insight into the heritage of the Blue Ridge, the Blue Ridge Institute's Folklife Festival is the place for you.
