[Dear Editor;]
I am seeking information regarding my great–great–grandfather, Henry Hardy of Carroll County, Virginia. I would like information regarding the place of his birth, the date of his birth, and the identity of his mother. His father was John Hardy; I would like to know where he was born and who his parents were. Henry Hardy's daughter, Matilda, married Lt. Cadwallader Massey, Co. C, 29th VA. Inf., who died at Lexington, Kentucky, on Oct. 17, 1862. I would like to know where he was buried, who his parents were, and if Matilda remarried after his death.

[Dear Editor;]
I would like to ask your help in tracing my ancestors who settled in and around Fayette, Raleigh, and Kanawha Counties of West Virginia. My ancestors name is Toney and I am led to believe they emigrated from Greece. I do not have any other records other than knowing my father's name is Charles Ronald Toney, deceased; grandfather's name is John Pad Toney, deceased; great grandfather is Jessie Toney, deceased. My birthdate is 11 Oct. 1934. If you have any information you feel may be helpful to me, please reply. I greatly appreciate any help you give me. Thank you.

[Dear Editor;]
I am Searching for any information on my grandparents' parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. My grandparents were Ellis Verner Porter (b– 28 Nov. 1877 – Wythe County, Va.) and Rosa Lee (Mabry) Porter (b– 22 Sept. 1881 – Carroll County, Va.). They went to Mount Airy, N.C. in a horse and buggy to get married, date not known.

Grandpa's parents were John A. Porter ( Civil War Vet) and Mary (Pearman) Porter. Grandpa had a brother, Will, and a sister, Molly, who married Dr. Wilkinson.

Grannys father was John A. Mabry. I think his wife was a Burnett. Granny had a sister, Lillie who married a Stilwell. Her brothers were Tobe, Kent, and Bert.

Any information will be greatly appreciated and all letters promptly answered. Thank you.
