Sunset In The Mountains

By Lyn Aydelette © 1991

Issue: March, 1991

I need no flowered garden
To color bright my day.
I need no priceless paintings,
- I have one anyway.

In mountains in the evening
The sun will try to light
All the peaks in colors
Before the coming night.

The sky will change in minutes
Maybe brass, or gold, or rose -
Casting new reflections
Like a dancer touching toes.

So at mountain sunset time
I love to watch the show,
Don't need to buy a ticket -
I just sit right here below.
