Due to recent inquiries on behalf of political candidates regarding the placing of political advertisements in The Mountain Laurel, we wish to make the following statement:

The Mountain Laurel will not accept political advertisements from local, state or national candidates.

In the words of Wm. Axley Allen, "Ain't no use to help 'em, they gonna help themselves."
