The Carroll County Historical Society will hold its August meeting on Sunday, August 19th, 1984. The members will be traveling to Eagle Falls, Sylvatus, Virginia. We will be hiking in one of the most scenic areas of Carroll County, Virginia. There will be someone speaking to the members at this time about the Sylvatus area. Members should meet at the Ruritan Building in Sylvatus at 1:30. The Historical Society welcomes any interested persons to attend. Membership applications will be available for anyone interested in joining. All meetings unless otherwise indicated will meet at the Carroll County Public Library. All regularly scheduled meetings will meet at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

FAMILY REUNION - Patrick and Carroll County Bowman’s on Sunday, September 2, 1984, 9a.m. til 5 p.m. at the Laurel Fork, Va. Firehouse on Route 58. Come and bring a covered dish. Coffee and Iced tea will be furnished.
