Message from The Mountain Laurel

By Susan M. Thigpen © 1984-2012

Issue: January, 1984

We've got a couple of things we'd like to talk over with you this month.

Number One being the increase in our cover price. It wasn't something that we wanted to do, but we had no choice. We hope you will understand and continue to give us your much needed support. Subscriptions will remain only $6.00 per year so you can save 30% by subscribing. Subscriptions cost us less to deliver to you and we can pass the savings on. Thank you for understanding.

Number Two: Requests for back issues have completely exhausted our supplies except for a very limited number of the November and December issues. These are available free on a first come first served basis to our subscribers. We regret being unable to fill your requests for other back issues.

Number Three: Good News! This month we have added some pages and a lot more reading to help you enjoy a warm fire, hot cup of coffee or tea and your Mountain Laurel through cold winter days.
