I am doing research on the Napier family of Buncombe Co., NC. I need to know the name of Fredrick Napiers father and mother. Fredrick had a brother Patrick who was a doctor. He had a son Charlie Napier who migrated to Smith (Harlan, Co.) KY. Charlie married Sarah Elizabeth Jones. They remained in KY until their death. Patrick Napier remained in North Carolina. Anyone who could help me or him [or] wishes to exchange information will be welcome.

I am looking for information on my husband's family. He believes his father was born in Foster Falls, Va. He married Mary Jane Edmonds from Carroll Co., Va. His father's name was George Washington Warf and we don't know his first wife's name, who would be my husband's grandmother. He then married Martha Ann Dale.

If anyone has any information on this family we would appreciate it so much.

I would like to trace my family history on my grandmother's side. My Great Grandmother Harriett Lawson married a Emory Stoneman. She lived in or near High Point, NC. She had some sisters Clara Lawson, Sadie Lawson, and one brother Harvey Lawson. There also was another brother Jessie Lawson. I do not know their parents or where they were from. Any help would be appreciated.

I am attempting to find the parents of Phillip C. Oden and Joanna Frances Stone who were married in Culpeper Co., Va. 13 May 1847. His second wife was Sarah E. Corder. Phillip died 1 July 1895 in Flint Hill, Rappahannock Co., Va. His children (by first marriage) were George C., Charles C., Tacie Phillipa (m. Eaton Wilkins Bass), Julia F. (m. Priest), and Margaret F. (m. Corder). Children by his second marriage were Mary B. (Mollie) who was post mistress at Flint Hill and William B.. Tacie and Eaton were my grandparents.

My Great Grandfather William Neal married Nancy Goode in Forsyth Co., Belews Creek, NC. in 1853 according to the 1880 census she was a widow. I can't find out when and where he died. Any information would be appreciated.
