[Dear Editor,]
I would like information on the Tuggle family, ancestors and descendants. My third great-grandfather is Larkin Tuggle, son of Celia Tuggle McDaniel. He was the husband of Malinda Shumate. Please send any information, Tuggle Creek History, or Tuggle Gap History to:

[Dear Editor,]
I have prepared a 100 page loose leaf booklet on the Wood Family, plan to prepare more, and would like to hear from other Woods, Epperlys, Hyltons, Nolens (Nowlins), and Cannadays. My fourth grandfather was Richard “Dickey” Wood. I, of course, am willing to exchange information with any interested persons.

[Dear Editor,]
I’m looking for descendants of William A. and Elizabeth Clark. They lived in the Five Forks Community (near Stuart, Va.). Their children were: Ella (married Albert Gilbert), Ada (married a Houhn), Jenny (never married), and Carrie (married John H. Purdy). We think Albert and Ella moved to North Carolina. Carrie was a school teacher prior to her marriage. Does anyone know of this family? If so please write to:

[Dear Editor,]
I am a Floyd County native and went to a one room school known as Opossum Hollow. It was located between Brush Creek and Camp Creek. I am trying to find a book which I used as a primer reader. It was The Child’s World Primer (known as the Baby Ray Primer). It was published by R.F. Johnson and copyrighted 1917. I would appreciate hearing from any reader that might have one they would sell.
