I am trying to locate any information on descendants of Luther Edens. He lived in the Meadows of Dan area of Patrick County, ca 1880-1920, and was possibly a cousin of Rev. Austin Hylton (1846- 1928) and Levi Hylton (1844-1927). Luther had a son, Elza Edens. Does anyone have any information on him or any other Edens (Iddings) family of Patrick.County? Also who were the parents of Celia Edens, b 1807 Patrick Co. married 1835 to Soloman Hylton in Floyd Co. or parents of Mary (Polly) Manning, b. 1818, d. 1892, married 1840 to David Weddle, Jr. in Floyd Co. Was Mary the daughter of William and Elizabeth Mannin?

I am trying to locate the grave site of William L. Clark in Carroll County. He ran a store on Snake Creek in 1886 and 1887 with his son John Peter Litz Clark. His youngest son married Irena Florence Largen. I would like to hear from anyone who is related to her.

I am also looking for information about Nancy Fannie Elizabeth Mary Ann Huldy Young. She married Stewart G. Riggins is 1906. She was my grandmother. She came from Laurel Fork and her parents were Idal Frank Young and Mary Jane Bowman.

I am searching for the actual birthplace of my great-grandfather, Joel Ayers and his parents and grandparents. I have been told that he was born in Patrick Co. Virginia in 1826. Joel's father's name was William P.(?) Ayers and his grandfather was Thomas Ayers. Joel married Martha Patsy Whitaker Jan. 18, 1849. Joel moved to Avery County, Banner Elk, N.C. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
