I am searching for any information on William Spencer born around 1800 I believe. He married Susannah Dean Dec. 12, 1833 in Surry Co. NC and died sometime around 1844-45. I want to know who their parents were and where he was from. He had at least 1 brother named James Spencer that married Susannah's sister Rebecca. If anyone knows about either William and Susannah or James and Rebecca, please contact me. I would be ever so grateful to you.

William and Susannah (called Susan) were my great-grandparents. William and James Spencer were living in Carroll County, VA at the time of their marriage, near Lambsburg, VA. I am trying to write my family's history and need this information to complete it.

We need information from the readers of your paper on descendants of John P. Thompson, born Feb. 9, 1846 in Franklin Co., VA, son of George Pyrant & Jane (Ingram) Thompson. On Jan. 5, 1881 he married Harriet Scott (born 1858). Daughter of Fleming & Sarah Scott-moved. to NC about 1885.

Also need info on descendants (if any) of Thomas W. Thompson born May 3, 1869 in Franklin Co., VA. Son of George Washington & Nancy (Cannaday) Thompson. Married Dec. 23, 1888 to Julia Gusler (born 1860). Daughter of Jacob & Maude Gusler. Thomas died of Typhoid May 6, 1892.

Would like any information on the Ridpath families in Floyd Co. Manila Ridpath (1904-1974) married James Stanley White. Who is her father?

Eula Redpath married Wertie Phillips. Iva Redpath married Cecil Phillips. Who is the Father of these Redpaths?

And would anyone know Emory Tickle who married Martha C. Phillips of Floyd Co.? Had children: Lillian, Wm.S., Dorothy C., Nita A., & Julian born 1903. who is the Father of these Tickles?

I have some family history on both of these families. Would exchange information.

My paternal g-g-grandmother was Elizabeth Ann (Fulcher) Martin, born in 1827 in Patrick Co., Va. Not knowing what her husband's first name is, nor her parents' names, I need information on this. Her son was John Robert Martin who married Emma Taylor Martin in 1888 in Patrick Springs, Va.

I am also seeking info. on Dr. W.F.B. Taylor. He is my g-g-grandfather; born in 1828 in Henry Co, Va. He married Frances Morton (Bishop) Taylor of Stuart. Her father was Dr. Joseph Bishop and her mother was Elizabeth (Terrell) Bishop. Frances Bishop Taylor was called Fannie, and was born in 1832.

My maternal g-g-grandfather, Waller Akers Conway was born approximately in 1857 in Patrick Co., Va. and married Amanda Cannon (Dalton) Conway. Their son Caney (Cain) E. Conway was born in 1883 and married Lucy Hilda Gilbert. Her parents were James Monroe Gilbert, born in 1853 and Mary Elizabeth (Gilbert) Gilbert born in 1858.

Any information and stories on any of these ancestors will be greatly appreciated from the readers.
