Our Southern Heritage

These Southern hills and valleys
Have the ability to mold
Their natives into dreamers
And forever have a hold

Upon the lives of those born
Amidst their lofty peaks,
No matter where they wander
Or whatever life they seek.

The Southern heart always returns
To the beauty of these hills
To sense a special freedom
And have their souls fulfilled.
