I am trying to find information on Justice/Jestus/Justis/Justiss genealogy in Virginia. I'm mainly interested in John Justice and Mary Hogue (Stogue). They raised a large family. Would like to know names of their family and his parents names as well. John has a brother named James. Would like to know about that family also. I would sincerely appreciate any information.

I'm seeking information on the parents, grandparents, etc. of my g-grandfather, David J. Robertson, born June 30, 1825 in either Franklin or Patrick Co., VA. He died March 17, 1894 in Patrick Co. He lived in Smith River, Elamville area. His death record gives John and Redecka Robertson, Franklin Co. as his parents. On Feb. 25, 1850 in Patrick Co. he married Nancy Roberson, born March 16, 1832, Patrick Co., died Dec. 8, 1917, Floyd Co. She was the daughter of William Roberson and Rebecca Dodd. The children of David J. and Nancy Robertson were: Elizabeth, born Jan. 11, 1851, married William Lee Hall; Thomas Abram, born April 30, 1852, married Mary Susan Hall Jerihmary; and Leonia Emaline, born 1857, married Peter R. Hall. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have been searching for my g-g-grandfather's marriage records. His name was Burwell Spence. He was in the Revolutionary War, from Surry Co., N.C. Was in the Battle of Eutawa Springs, S.C. and Montgomery Co., VA in 1782. Was shown on tax list 1788 and '89 on Burks Fork Creek in Montgomery Co. Some place in Wythe Co. 1793. Some place in Grayson Co, 1795. Would like any information on the above. I thank you,

I would like information about my grandfather, Henry B. Howell, born April 24, 1831. He was either from Henry or Franklin County. First wife was Lou Ann Epperly, one son John. Their daughter Emmazette married a Sparks. Second wife was Anjulina Boyd, called Julie.
